Mental Health Liaison Nicky Ferguson

Nicky Ferguson is the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Liaison for the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force. This position began in November of 2024 to help those with Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder, or both, to be able to obtain the treatment that they need. Nicky is a sworn law enforcement officer with training in Crisis Intervention, Crisis Negotiation, and Mental Health First Aid for both adults and youth. She also works to provide education, in conjunction with the agents, to community members regarding basic drug education and the Deflection work being done in the six county area. Nicky will respond for incidents of overdose, but will also take referrals for those who have co occurring substance use disorder and mental illness.
